These are the feet of my beloved travel companions, my husband and daughter (mine snuck in there too). The photo was taken on a beach on the Gulf Coast of Florida near Tampa, whose name I can never remember. We’ve travelled all over the US together, and hope to finish seeing all 50 states by the end of the decade. (When my son lived at home he travelled with us, too, but he’s a married man now, with a new beloved traveling companion.)
